Preaching & Teaching

As a member of the ministry team at the Joyful Sound Church of God, I preach on a semi-regular basis at my home church. My teaching responsibilities include the young adult Sunday School class, as well as a bi-weekly Discipleship class. I am currently a licensed minister, pursuing ordination within the Church of God denomination through the Church of God School of Ministry.

Singing

As worship director for the last 10 years, I have led weekly worship services, organized set lists, arranged music, and led rehearsals countless times. Our team has traveled throughout the southeast Tennessee and northwest Georgia regions to sing at revivals and various special events. 

Writing

After four years of writing for multiple sports websites and publications, I devoted my talent completely to ministry in 2013. In my previous experience as a sports blogger, my work published on bleacherreport.com, espn.com, latimes.com, and askmen.com just to name a few. My ministry articles have been published in Good News Chattanooga magazine. I also contributed to 30:1 Marriage, a men's marriage devotional.
